Drive agency vehicles to pick up and transport daily meals; safely load and unload food and supplies. Follow applicable Ohio Department of Job and Family Services food service requirements and regulations. Set up kitchen, food service, and serving areas, including equipment, utensils, and supplies. Check food temperatures and ensure food is stored, prepared, and served according to established safety standards. Prepare or assist with preparing a variety of hot and cold foods, including meats, vegetables, beverages, salads, sandwiches, dressings, and simple baked items. Set up and maintain hot and cold food service lines. Serve meals to students and staff while following portion and presentation guidelines. Replenish food, utensils, dishes, trays, condiments, and other supplies as needed. Monitor food and equipment for quality, safety, and cleanliness and report or address concerns appropriately. Clean and sanitize kitchen and dining areas, including floors, pots, pans, utensils, dishes, equipment, and other work surfaces. Collect and dispose of garbage and trash in designated areas. Perform cashiering duties, as assigned. Provide guidance or training to other employees performing related duties, as needed. Maintain a professional, positive, and cooperative working relationship with students, staff, and the public. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Minimum Qualifications
