The Madison-Champaign ESC, in collaboration with the Midwest Regional ESC, are seeking a knowledgeable, forward-thinking Network Systems Coordinator to lead and support the ongoing improvement of technology programs across both agencies. This shared position plays a critical role in enhancing instructional technology, supporting staff and student success, and ensuring efficient, secure, and innovative technology systems.
The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to collaboration while promoting a positive and professional image of both service centers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Valid background check and ability to meet all state employment requirements
- Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills
- Ability to stay current with emerging technologies
- Experience supporting diverse learners and adult users preferred
Preferred certifications:
- Google Administrator
- CompTIA A+
- MCSE
- MCP
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage technology plans and programs
- Design and maintain network systems (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi, servers, backups)
- Provide leadership in instructional technology and staff training
- Oversee help desk services and user support
- Manage technology budgets, purchasing, and vendor contracts
- Ensure system security, data management, and disaster recovery planning
- Maintain inventory, records, and compliance with policies and licensing
- Collaborate with staff to enhance student learning through technology

- Reliable transportation to and from site locations is required
