A Paraprofessional supports teachers and staff in providing instructional, behavioral, and supervisory assistance to students. This position works directly with students individually and in small groups to reinforce instruction, promote positive behavior, and support a safe and productive learning environment. We need a classroom paraprofessional to take over this classroom with 9 middle school students with various disabilities. Experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right candidate. You may be asked to lead groups, help with personal care, support behaviors, and more. 

Responsibilities include:

• Assist with classroom instruction and learning activities

• Provide academic and behavioral support as directed

• Support implementation of IEPs and student plans

• Supervise students during classroom and non-classroom activities

• Maintain documentation as required

• Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student success
